Please be sure to follow the rules.

Changes in the light rail schedule

5/2/2021 11:30 AM

Dear passengers, pay attention!
For your convenience, we have added more trains during rush hour and at night.
The light rail will operate every day until midnight.
The frequency of the light rail between the hours of 07:00-19:00 will be every 6 minutes.

Public Transport Fares Update

Please note - Following the update of the Price Control Order, starting on February 1st, public transportation fares shall be reduced by an average of 2.15% and will be rounded to the nearest half shekel.

The update applies to all means of public transport - buses, trains, as well as app rates.
Despite the reduction in fares, which is fully reflected in the subscription cards, some rates will increase due to the decision to "round" the prices to the nearest half shekel.
Other fares have decreased even beyond the decline in the index, again due to the rounding to the nearest half shekel.

For example, if the price of a single ride in the city was NIS 5.90, following the decrease, the new fare is NIS 5.80 and following the rounding action - the new fare is NIS 6.00.
If the price of a long-distance trip was NIS 15, following the update due to the index, the price drops to NIS 14.70 and is rounded to NIS 14.50.

The update applies to all means of public transport - buses, trains, as well as app rates.

Senior Citizen Discount Eligibility Age Update

In accordance with the provisions of the Senior Citizens Law, starting on February 1st, 2021, a man will be able to benefit from a senior citizen profile starting at age of 67 and a woman from the age of 62.

This amendment shall apply to new subscribers only.
Passengers who were issued a senior citizen profile prior to the amendment, shall continue to enjoy their senior citizen discount.

Attention: Monthly contract rates shall be updated as of Monday, January 25th, 2021.
