Discharged Soldiers:
Have you completed regular service? A moment after completing the "Tour Form" and cutting your belt, update your discharger profile in the apps or on Rab-Kav and travel free for one year from the date of completion of service on all means of public transportation - buses, Israel Railways, light rail, metro, service taxis, cable cars and Carmelit - and anywhere in the country without limitation.
National Service Graduates:
Have you completed your national service? On the day your service card expires, update your discharger profile in the apps or on Rab-Kav and travel free for one year from the date of completion of service on all means of public transportation - buses, Israel Railways, light rail, metro, service taxis, cable cars and Carmelit - and anywhere in the country without limitation.
What do I need to do to receive the benefit?
You must update your profile on Rav-Kav or in the app.
The benefit will take effect from the date the profile is approved.
I was discharged from regular service six months ago, am I still eligible for the benefit?
As part of the benefit, discharged soldiers are entitled to free travel for a year from the date of discharge from regular service. Therefore, you will be entitled to free travel for six months.
Please note!
Even if you travel for free – you must validate the trip when boarding the bus/train using public transportation apps or a Rav-Kav card. Have a pleasant trip!
