Update regarding train service throughout Independence Night

4/30/2025 8:00 PM

Dear passengers,
Due to the wave of fires in several areas across the country, and following the instructions of the Jerusalem Municipality, the Independence Day events that were planned to take place this evening in the city have been canceled.

To serve the public during this time, the Light Rail (Kfir) will continue to operate throughout the night along the entire line, from Neve Yaakov to Hadassah Ein Kerem in both directions, according to the following schedule:
Until midnight – regular service schedule, and from then until 04:00 AM – every 30 minutes.

We express our support for the firefighting and rescue teams working in the field.
We will provide updates on any changes.

Refund for overcharging

4/28/2025 5:00 PM

Attention!

Passengers who traveled on the Light Rail between April 25-27, 2025, and used a stored-value contract during a transfer (between the train and a bus or between the Light Rail lines in Jerusalem), and were overcharged by two shekels, are entitled to a refund.

The refund can be obtained at the Light Rail Service Center, located at 97 Jaffa Street, Clal Building, 17th floor.

Please arrive with your Rav-Kav card.
